ARRA Statewide Forensic Peer Support Funding Announcement

The Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency (PCCD) and the Office of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (OMHSAS) will be accepting concept papers to support Pennsylvania’s initiative to expand the successful implementation of certified peer support services for justice-involved individuals with mental illness (MI) and/or co-occurring substance use disorders (COD).

Funding opportunity will be available via PCCD's Egrants System on February 17, 2010. Interested applicants can access the Funding Announcement, in its entirety, on PCCD's website at www.pccd.state.pa.us. Deadline for submission of concept papers is 11:59 p.m., March 15. 2010.

This funding announcement is being issued on a competitive basis and is open to any non-profit agency or organization that is able to meet all the necessary requirements described within the Project Goals and Project Objectives sections of the funding announcement, and who can demonstrate in their proposals that they have the capacity, experience and reputation to successfully implement this initiative.

Applicants must demonstrate they have the capacity and/or experience in the implementation of statewide initiatives. More information about this funding opportunity, including the funding announcement and guidelines, can be found here.
