Shelley Bishop owns and operates Support the Journey, Inc., an arts business located in Landisburg. As a person who has lived with symptoms of mental illness since her early teens, she has dedicated herself to her own recovery and supporting the recovery of others. She has worked as an advocate in the mental health system for 27 years, and as an inspirer of others in seeing the possibilities of a full and meaningful life despite having mental health challenges.
Shelley has been blessed with many mentors in her professional career who have believed in her, given opportunities and have been the example of strong and positive leadership. She honors these mentors by striving to live the values represented in the I’m the Evidence poem in her daily life.
